Application Instructions:
- Pre-Cleaning:
- Vacuum the carpet to remove solid soilage.
- Dilution:
- Dilute 1 part Bonnet Cleaner to 8 parts hot water.
- Pre-test the solution on an inconspicuous area to ensure the carpet is color-fast.
- Application Methods:

- Option B: Pre-spray the carpet with the solution (only spray a 6m x 6m area at a time).
- Option C: Soak the bonnet in the solution, then squeeze out excess moisture. Ensure the bonnet is damp, not dripping wet, to avoid over-wetting the carpet and splashing skirting boards.

- Fit the bonnet to a slow-speed rotary machine (150 to 300 rpm).
- Scrub the carpet from side to side, working in 2-meter square blocks.
- Keep the bonnet damp but avoid over-wetting the carpet.
- Replace or clean the bonnet when it becomes soiled.
- Finishing:
- Clean around furniture and edges using a hand method.
- Rake the pile when finished.
- Avoid placing furniture on wet carpet to prevent stains.
- Wash and air-dry the bonnets after use.
Tips for Bonnet Cleaning:
- Avoid Dry Bonnet Buffing: This can damage the carpet.
- Clean Bonnet: Start with a clean bonnet for maximum soil absorption.
- Avoid ‘Heeling’ the Machine: This can damage the carpet.
- Caution with Carpet Types: Be careful with cut-pile and coarse loop-pile carpets to prevent pile distortion from the rotary action.
